Purveyors of weird pop fiction.

Heads Dance Press is devoted to publishing weird fiction from passionate writers. We want to see your eerie, your bizarre, your strange, and your psychedelic.

The late Mark Fisher defined “weird” as involving “a sensation of wrongness: a weird entity or object so strange that it makes us feel that it should not exist, or at least it should not exist here. Yet if the entity or object is here, then the categories which we have up until now used to make sense of the world cannot be valid.”

We want to publish weird anthologies of short fiction inspired by pop culture; that’s what we mean when we say “weird pop fiction.”
